Olay Skincare Boutiques – US

Webb deVlam for Procter & Gamble

Project Goals: Olay has been a well-loved brand for decades. When Webb deVlam was hired to help, Olay was thought of as a brand for older women. To maintain relevancy, the brand needed to be more distinctive and appeal to younger women. Olay has many different boutiques, or product lines, and the new design needed to make it easy to shop these offerings, understanding the benefit of each.

Result: Regenerist, the first boutique to launch, was a huge success, and skyrocketed Olay into the "billion dollar brand" category. Over the next 5 years, we designed descriptive structures for each boutique. Each had its own distinctive form, but the forms were all tied to each other with a defined design language.

Role: Designer for Webb deVlam.  Responsibilities included trend research, sketching, renderings, and CAD development.
